Duties:
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, wound care, and monitoring vital signs.
- Assist in the development and implementation of patient care plans.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Perform routine medical procedures, such as collecting samples for laboratory testing and conducting basic diagnostic tests.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records.
- Educate patients and their families on healthcare procedures, medications, and self-care techniques.
- Assist with case management and coordination of patient care.
Qualifications:
- Valid LPN license in British Columbia, Canada.
- Previous experience in a medical office or similar healthcare setting preferred.
- Strong knowledge of nursing principles and practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
